Our Newest Addition

Here is our newest addition "The Mini".

Twin Falls, Idaho

A couple of days before we left for Germany, Tim's Dad took us to some beautiful areas in Twin Falls. We visited the Snake River Canyon area, Shoshone Falls and a number of other areas. The best by far was the waterfall (not sure of the name of it) that we were able to walk to and stand behind and watch its natural flow. Nature really is fascinating and mesmerizing.

Tim and I spent two weeks in Idaho with his family. While there we were able to get to know our nieces and nephews a little better. Tim being the good Uncle enjoyed wrestling with them at every opportunity. The kids were a great joy to be around while we all were dealing with such sorrow.

Goodbye to a Beautiful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend!

I have yet another goodbye! As most of you know, my mother in law suffered two massive strokes. While she was a fighter her body gave in to the second stroke. She was such a beautiful, caring person. Everyone who knows her will miss her terribly! Sandra Perkes 1948-2008

St. Louis Visit ~ August 2008

Well, I was lucky enough to get back home to St. Louis for the first weekend of August. My friends, Amy and Tony, let me stay with them for the weekend (thanks guys!). While I wasn't able to make it back in time for Ferd's funeral, I was able to participate in my nephew's 2nd birthday party and was able to see my cousin before and after her baby girl was born. I think Gracie waited for me to arrive at the hospital :) Both Mom and baby are doing very well and I think Dad survived too.
